Sustainable Tokenomics

Hiveswap is based on a dual token system that was inspired by Camelot. This system consists of HIVE and its escrowed version xHIVE, a non-transferable governance token that will also be used to collect real yield and farming rewards.

Most emissions will be distributed in xHIVE giving better control of the supply flow on the market. This allows for a balance between great incentives to ensure strong initial liquidity while ensuring we have long term sustainability.

Supply is hard capped with a strategic emission schedule combined with deflationary mechanisms.

Protocol earnings, which in the beginning will come from swap fees, will be distributed as real yield to xHIVE holders. This gives token holders utility beyond simple governance and a piece of the action on exchange revenue.
